Hey there!

New computer, new OS, new problems...

Long story short: there's two little things that may or may not be problems with CentrED itself.

First: When I use the Select Tool, the items are indeed selected and shown on the item list, but the selected item is not highlighted. It's a little thing, but it's annoying. (When I click on an item in the list it IS highlighted tho)
It may, of course, be a problem with my theme or configuration of Windows itself... I don't know.

Second: the mouse cursor of all other tools is pitch black. Instead of the white glove pointing it's it's black twin brother. Not too bad... but when you work with filters and a black background you can't see where you're pointing at :D

However that too may be a problem with my own config of the OS.
Either way, maybe somebody knows a way to work around those little, but annoying 'bugs'?

Does this happen with recent versions of CentrED (0.6.1) too? I heard of these black cursors in older versions, but afaik no one complained (again) so far :D

The tiles in the tile list should indeed be selected after clicking on tiles in the "game window", but it might be, that the non-focused highlight color doesn't differentiate too much from the background in the windows theme you use. You can test if they are actually selected, if you click the "add to random pool" button (the Plus symbol under the tile list) after clicking in the game window. If the correct tile  gets then added to the random pool, it would be a good sign that it's only a visual problem.

"Are you sure it's plugged in?!"

-_- I did in fact use 0.4.1 and I totally thought it would have been a newer version.
After updating the black glove cursor is white again, thanks for the idiot-check! Seem like I needed it ;)

The highlight however is still not showing up.
The item is actually selected, I can put it in the random pool as well as use it with the drawing tool.
It is only a visual problem, but still annoying :]

It works if I use the 'Classic Windows' theme, which pretty much looks like Win98... But hey... that's not really gonna happen :D
Changing the native Windows 7 themes does not change it however.

Sure, it's not a big deal and more one 'for the record' ;)
