I remember reading about the problem, but don't remember finding an answer.

Everything appears to boot up fine. I can even manage to get CentrED to open my files. However, if I make any attempt to do something (from selecting a tile to simply moving over the arrows on the mapscreen) it immediately freezes, my screen goes black, and I get the above message. I'd also like to mention that I don't actually get the chance to choose an option and it only stays for about 1 second... Had trouble getting the screenshot due to that fact :3

I'm not sure if it's related, but I also happen to get an error "Display drivers have stopped responding and recovered."

Off-topic, but I'm also curious as to how I can add users so my friends can edit the map. My attempt looks something like this...

<Accounts>
- <Account>
  <Name>Ghalin</Name>
  <PasswordHash>[Stuffs]</PasswordHash>
  <AccessLevel>255</AccessLevel>
  <LastPos x="16" y="16" />
  <Regions />
  </Account>
- <Account>
  <Name>Nefquelle</Name>
  <PasswordHash>[stuffs]</PasswordHash>
  <AccessLevel>255</AccessLevel>
  <LastPos x="16" y="16" />
  <Regions />
  </Account>
  </Accounts>

Is this correct, and is there a way I can freely manipulate passwords without having to "Hash" it?

You can't simply edit the passwords - they have to be stored as hash. You can manage the accounts from the CentrED client once connected to the server.
Regarding your crash(es): do you happen to have an integrated intel graphics chip? Then you might want to consider to upgrade your drivers, since I'm pretty sure it's graphics driver related.

Turns out that not only was the driver old, but it was clashing with something else. I uninstalled the old one and installed the updated version. It works fine now, and I found the "Add User" thing.

Thanks for the advice, and this program is amazing.

Thanks - and glad I could help :)

Hi, I have the same problem... I'd Ubuntu 9.10 and everything was fine. But I made upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04 and login finish with Access Violation error.

Do you have solution of this issue?

PS: I tried three differend desktops with Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and everyone has this issue.

I'll see if I can reproduce it.

I tried Ubuntu 10.04 Live CD on my notebook and problem is still here.

I just uploaded a version (re)built against the current GTK2. Please try if it now works for you.

Kail

It works! Thank you very much, you made great job.  ;)

I am having the same issue. My graphics drivers are up to date. The violation seems to mainly occur right after i click a tile and move my mouse out onto the edit field. Any help would be great. Thanks.
