Interface for changing passwords or adding users?

Hi Hitman

I'm wondering if there is an interface for adding users or changing passwords with an external program and if yes if there is a description of that interface somewhere (I can't find any on your projectwebsite). That could be useful for adjusting the passwords with other software like bulletin boards or uo-emulators or similar.

Well, theoretically you can simply add them to the cedserver.xml ... but you would have to close the server first and restart it afterwards. So it's currently possible, but not really nice. (If you want to do that, then I would suggest a cron job which runs every night ... shuts down cedserver, appends/deletes/whatever accounts to/from the config and restarts cedserver.)

So, passwords are formatted in the linux password format?  Just like they would be in an .passwd file?

Probably not - depending on your linux setup. I use MD5 hashes for the password.
