simply (not that simply) replace the terrain or some item in x and y area to some other terrain or item.

example: I want to substitute all the sands (there are many types, but you can select a group from the random pool, with all sands there and replace randomly) to  grass terrains (and  here you must have another random pool to substitute) in 100x100 area where i selected, and then! puff! done  :lol:

I saw many people that are just downloading the zip arquive and having problems to initialize the program, because they didn't download the other archive.
just simply do a patch with both of them, the exe archive to program the ip, acc, map blabla, and the archive to install. I recommend to put with a simple ReadMe archive with steps to download and stuff like this.

Ah, unfortunantly, you can just undo 1 step with the Undo Tool, I recommend to put something like that Photoshops (lol) that you can storage almost 1000 steps (not this much to the suggestion) and undo many of them. Something like... 20 or 50 steps to storage and then you can return as many times as you want.
