Fun tool, I like making the maps more than actually playing the game now-a-days.
Anyhow, my main feature request would be to handle transitions (which has likely already been mentioned). Something like:

I'm sure it would be a lot of legwork but most of the transitions are already laid out in UOL, which could be of help. Also it would be useful to place a no_draw tile (or something noticeable) where there is no matching transition tile so it would be easy to clean up. Coastlines would probably be the hardest thing, another consideration is a 'coastline brush', where you could just paint on a perfect coastline that a few tiles wide.
I agree. That would be very useful.
I don't really get it... all the transition tiles are available and it's really not that much work to lay them where they should be. It would be nice to have that, but IMO there's a lot of work involved here, and the feature isn't as important as (i.e) the undo feature.
P.S. I don't think it makes much sense to post requests anymore - CentrED is open source now and my guess is that hitman simply has no time to do all the things that we would like to be done.
That's indeed true (sadly). I don't give up that project of course (even if it's opensource I will have to maintain the patches - if there are some :)). But I have a lot of work at university so CentrED can't be my top priority at the moment :(
By the way, Hitman, do you know of anybody who is trying to work on the project ? I'm asking because I like to irritate people with "How's it goin" questions ;D
