When I open the cedserver it prompts me to fill in the info but then immediately closes afterwards. Anyone able to help with this? There's an old link to the file but it's 404 now.

There's not much magic in this bat file either. You can simply open a command prompt and launch cedserver from there.
But anyway, here it is :)

When I click that .bat file it says cedserver.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command
Same thing happens when I type cedserver or cedserver.exe into the command prompt.
If I use the application from the download "cedserver_win32_0-6-1" then it opens the command prompt and asks for the port, directories and account info then immediately closes. I've installed the "CentrED_win32_0-6-1" file from the download section of the site. I still can't connect after i do that. I'm assuming that the cedserver needs to remain open.

I put it in the same file as the application and it opened and worked. I then put in the map directories and it's saying It can't open the files. "EFopenerror : unable to open c:program filesshardclient

I put the files for the server in the same folder as the .bat file and the application and WALLA!
