Hey everyone, I just downloaded CED, and hum, I can't get it to work. First off, I opened my server. then I opened the cerserver.exe, entered everything that's needed to start it, but once I enter my password, and hit enter, the box closes (idk if it's supposed to do that.. so I'm just asking if I did something wrong) after that I opened CentrED, entered my acc pass and everything, saved the profile, (also entered the directory that contains all the files) and then i clicked on OK,. i saw on my serverbox that I was trying to connect, but I get disconnected for Inactivity.. As if the UO CentrED program didnt actually start the game or something.. idk =( Can anyone help me out on this one?

cedserver should not close itself, unless there was an error. The best thing to diagnose this is, to launch it from the command line. I think there is was also a batch file somewhere in this forum which kept the server window open.
What kind of error would it be? I mean.. I've put in everything it asked me, but one thing bugs me. it says Port 2597, when the port im using is 2593, is it normal?
cedserver is not a game server! They are seperate things. You have probably something else running on 2593 (like RunUO) so cedserver cannot use the same port.
One possible error could be, that it cannot exclusivly open some file. But that is pure speculation. The easiest thing is to start it from a commandline and see the error yourself ;-)
