Title: Larger Scale Commands... (Copy/Move)
Post by: buoa on December 07, 2008, 07:32:53 PM
I can't understand how copy/move buildings. I lead round the place necessary to me, write OFFSet (coordinates, where i want to copy), push Execute, and nothing... HOW COPY/MOVE ?

I'd say you wrote the coordinates OK, but forgot to check the checkbox next to the "copy/move" command.

No large scale command will be executed if the checkbox next to it's name is unchecked.

If that is not the case - please post a little more info - what is the "target area"? What do you type in the "offset" boxes?

My actions: I check the checkbox, I lead round district which I wish to copy, then in offset I put place co-ordinates where I wish to copy this construction. Execute, and nothing not be copied.

Warning: offsets are not absolute coordinates but relative. If you selected the area [50,50],[100,100] and move it by an offset of [300, 600] the area will be moved to [350,650],[400,700].

Well exactly as they say: "copy" copies the tiles, "move" moves the tiles ;-)
