Title: Z Display in Centred
Post by: Dwayne on October 01, 2008, 08:34:05 AM
Es gab mal so eine Funktion unter Worldforge die hatte alles plattgedrueckt und die Z hoehen angezeigt war damals ganz gut um zu sehen wie die höhen waren.
Beispiel was ich meine:

If you implement it please do it with an on/off checkbox - the current display of Z values below the map view is sufficient for (probably) most simple users.

In the light of the already slow rendering I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to enhance that even further (for now).
But sooner or later that will be implemented too (optional ofcourse :-))

It would be grate if this will be implemented. I'm using this function very excessive, because you have a better overview over the current height and you know what next z-value you can enter so that players can or can't walk through the area.
Is there currently a way to find out the height of a map-tile?

Of course. It is already displayed together with X, Y and TileID (and Hue) down in the status bar right under the map display.
