Hello,

Great program!! We are having a problem with clearing out large clumps of statics.  I'm using the Large Scale commands to delete them.  If I remove to large of a clump it locks up the server and shows "Error Processing buffer of client" (On the server window). The clients are frozen at the dialog of large scale commands or loading radar if they just came in.

I hope my description was clear.

Can you give me more details? How much statics have been in the list and how large has been the area you've processed?

Fubarimus

If I load up Trammell map in the app and try to delete all the statics in Britian using the large scale operation, it should reproduce the error.  I'm not sure the actual count of how many statics though, but trying that should give you the same result that I have.

I just selected two very large areas (britain and a large part of the north) and erased every static. It worked perfectly. Are you sure that no other process has access to the map files and that you have full write permissions?

Fubarimus

//Ok, I found the problem.  We were using a custom world (made with Dragon) that looked like Trammell.  When I copied the actual Trammell and tried the //operations it worked fine.  Seems to just be user error.  Sorry for wasting your time.  :D

Turns out I was wrong even with the original Trammell if I delete all the statics off the map I have problems.  If I create one big large scale box around the entire map it gives me the same "Error processing buffer of client" on the server.  I do have full write permissions and no other processes are accessing the files.

Client Details:
Windows XP Professional
Pentium 4 3.0gz
2.5 GB of Ram

Server Details:
Windows XP Home
Pentium 4 3.0gz
2.5 GB of Ram

I hope this helps.

Thanks, I'm now able to reproduce this problem. I'll investigate further and release a bug fix as soon as possible.
